Back at The Nursery!

I’ve got two workshops, each five day’s long. This has always been a highlight of my year. Join us.

Putting it All Together, A Week Intensive 10:30am - 5pm
October 14-18

The Nursery Training Center

Over the course of 5 days, participants in Putting it All Together will focus on:

  • Recognizing and creating from a strong point of view.

  • The creative certainty that comes with confident heightening, and how that in itself creates strong characters and relationships.

  • Owning the stage and your place in it.

  • Creating a sense of where without thinking, planning, worrying, or inventing.

  • Learning to surrender emotional elements of the scene in order to build honest and real scenarios.

The actors take-away from Putting it All Together will be a toolbox full of confidence, where he or she can enter any stage, work with any other actor, and live in boundless full environments.

Those who have worked with Razowsky know one thing: their work strengthens each time they sit in on one of his workshops. Just ask a veteran!

The week runs 14th to 18th October from 10.30am to 5pm. Maximum class size is 16 and often sell out, so book early to avoid disappointment. This week is open to all.

With Each Other, For Each Other, A Week Intensive
October 21-25, 10:30am - 5pm

The Nursery Training Center

With Each Other, For Each Other: The Art of the Ensemble is a weeklong intensive that focuses on all things ensemble: support, heightening, surrendering, and selfless play. What does the scene want from you? How can you best listen to and support whats already there? When does a scene need your help, and when does a scene need your absence? Invest fully, wholly, and be aware of what you need to offer and when.

The actor’s take away will include:

  • A clear understanding of the dynamics of a scene.

  • How a successful scene starts, develops, evolves, and to recognize when the perfect edit arrives.

  • Effectively using tag outs, callbacks and other scenic devices in order to explore all avenues of the scene.

This intensive will culminate in an ensemble performance on Saturday evening.

The week runs 21st to 25th October, 10.30am to 5pm. Maximum class size is 16 and often sell out, so book early to avoid disappointment.

PLEASE NOTE This week is only open to those who have worked with David Razowsky before – if you have not, then please book onto the ‘Putting It All Together’ course instead.
