It’s a first!
I’m so proud to be a part of The Dramatic Improv Festival (DIF). This new festival is dedicated to bringing the best of dramatic and narrative improvisation into one location, for a long weekend of connection, education, and performance.
The festival will be held in the North Center neighborhood of Chicago on October 4-6, with classes running on Saturday and Sunday and performances Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.
I’ll be teaching a workshop and performing with the great Dee Ryan and Joe Bill.
Here’s info about the workshop:
Sharpen your Point of View
$45 / Sunday, 1:30-4 PM
(Pendulum-Stage)
The very first exchanges of your scene tell you all you need to know about who you are and where to emotionally and energetically go. Are you aware of that? Are you listening to yourself at that time? Hmm? Are ya’? This workshop will guide you to your point of view, and have you following yourself confidently, bravely, excitedly, and easily. It’s as simple as that!
